A new royal adventure around Adventure Bay

Since July 24, 2026, Rapunzel, Moana, Raya, and Tiana have been taking part in a new interactive cavalcade at Disney Adventure World. The experience is scheduled several times a day throughout the year.

Disney Adventure World continues to enrich its program following its major transformation. On July 24, 2026, Disneyland Paris launched a new experience called The Disney Princess Cavalcade, designed as a visual, musical, and participatory event around Adventure Bay.

Four heroines are at the heart of this new production: Rapunzel, Moana, Raya, and Tiana. Each has a float inspired by her world, accompanied by details directly linked to the original animated films.

What is the route of the Disney Princess Cavalcade?

The route begins in front of the future immersive world dedicated to The Lion King, then follows Adventure Bay towards The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge before returning to its starting point.

The cavalcade does not just pass through the area. Halfway through the route, the floats stop for an interactive sequence during which the Princesses step down from their vehicles and present movements linked to their personality and story.

Moana performs gestures inspired by traditional Pacific Island dances, while Raya's draw from martial arts. The Princesses' attendants may invite some guests to mimic these movements, giving the sequence a more participatory nature than a simple parade.

How often can you see it?

Disneyland Paris officially announces several performances per day, all year round. However, the press release does not set permanent times: for a specific visit, it is best to check the daily schedule in the official Disneyland Paris tools.

Four floats inspired by Disney films

Each float has been designed to visually reflect its Princess's world. Moana's float evokes Motunui, while Raya's contains references to the Heart Palace. Tiana's world is based on the streets of New Orleans, and Rapunzel's features the atmosphere of the Snuggly Duckling tavern.

The teams also tucked several companions well-known to fans into the sets: Hei Hei and Pua for Moana, Tuk Tuk for Raya, Ray for Tiana, and Pascal for Rapunzel.

Impressive manufacturing details

Disneyland Paris shared several figures that give an idea of the level of detail in this production. Moana’s float uses nearly 120 meters of fringe for its kites. The mane of the dragon associated with Raya is composed of approximately 900 pieces of fabric.

As for Tiana, 24 feathers were hand-carved and painted for her attendants' staffs, while Rapunzel’s procession includes 13 sculpted ducks.

The floats were manufactured by a Nice-based company specializing in street creations, while the costumes were imagined by the Disneyland Paris costume design teams and made in France. The inspiration does not come solely from the films: Disneyland Paris also indicates that it worked based on the architecture and traditions of the countries and cultures evoked by the various stories.

Two new songs created for the cavalcade

The music was also the subject of a specific creation. Two original songs accompany the cavalcade. They were recorded between Nashville and Paris with about fifty musicians.

This musical work, combined with the choreography and mobile sets, places the Disney Princess Cavalcade between a traveling show and an interactive experience.

A novelty that is part of the transformation of Disney Adventure World

The cavalcade arrives a few months after the opening of World of Frozen and accompanies the ongoing evolution of the second park. It notably passes near the future Lion King world, another major project at Disney Adventure World.

It also complements the destination's range of shows and entertainment, as Disneyland Paris is already preparing a new major daytime parade for 2028 at Disneyland Park.

Not to be confused: The Disney Princess Cavalcade is a Disney Adventure World experience launched in July 2026. It is distinct from the new daytime parade announced for 2028 at Disneyland Park. The precise times of the cavalcade are not announced as fixed in the official press release.

A change for Minnie at Disney Adventure World

The arrival of the new cavalcade also marked the end of the scheduled run of The Disney Fanfare led by Minnie. However, Disneyland Paris specifies that Minnie remains present in the park: she now has a new Victorian-inspired outfit and can appear sporadically at the West Pavilion to meet visitors.

Why is this cavalcade worth the detour?

For visitors who enjoy the Disney Princesses, this new addition brings together several worlds in a relatively compact production, while offering special proximity thanks to the stops and participatory sequences. It also provides new animation to Adventure Bay, an area that has become central to the new identity of Disney Adventure World.

If you are planning a day focused on the resort's new features, consider combining this event with World of Frozen and the other experiences in the second park. For shopping and exclusive products, our Disneyland Paris shopping guide can also help you prepare your route.
